Advice on MB/GPU/Processor combo

Hey everyone,

I'm currently planning my second self build PC. My first was quite a few years ago so I've been left a little out of the loop since then. So I could do with some advice on the latest hardware!

Im looking at getting either a GTX 670 or 680 (any idea wether the extra £100 is worth it for the 680??).

To go with that I was possibly looking at getting a processor/RAM/Mobo bundle to save a bit of money which includes:

- ASUS P8Z77-V LX

- Intel Core i5-2500k

- Patriot Memory 8GB (2 x 4GB) Viper Xtreme Series

My main question would be, are any of these going to bottlneck the GPU? And if so, what would be a better alternative?

That board should come with an ivy bridge CPU, otherwise I wouldn't go higher than a hd7970ghz.ed or gtx670. 680 is expensive for it's performance. Nice choices though.
