I have a Dell Optiplex 755 Core 2 Quad which serves my needs well. I bought a Intell SSD which I have yet to install and a Asus 8400GS Silent 1GB DDR3 video card. Just wondering if the card installed on a PCIe riser would be a problem for the pwer supply. Cant find any info on the cards wattage needs. Can anyone help. Would love to pop this in today. My power supply is 280W. Currentlu running with a NVIDIA Quadro NVS 290 but want to upgrade to use the HDMI. It will not be used for any HEAVY gaming.

Okay after doing some reading its becoming clear the Asus card sucks. Will return it. Can anyone recomend a very low watt card with at least one HDMI connection that is very current spec wise with a low profile that can be run in a riser cage?

Well, of course it sucks. It was released 5 years ago as a low end card ;) . What do you use the PC for?

Everything but I am looking to get into Flight Simulator and maybe Call of Duty.
