6870 or 560 ti?

'Ello. I'm looking to buy a GFX card that can run the latest games. There is two cards that I am debating on getting. One, the GTX 560 ti, or two, the ATI Radeon 6870. The CPU I am getting without a doubt is the i5 2500k. The games I will be playing will be mainly Battlefield, GTA, Minecraft, Prototype, NFS, anything by Valve, DayZ, and many more.

FPS doesn't really bother me, the smoothness does. I want the card that runs the game with hardly any FPS jumps if that is possible out of these two cards I am debating on getting. I have already got all the other parts picked out from PC Partpicker.com so I have my budget which is around $700.

560Ti and 6870 are quite close in many games. Where there is a difference, it tends to favour the 560Ti.

But, both GPUs are quite close. The 560ti is a great value.
