Can't play games

I have a AMD 5700 series gpu and its worked perfectly on my hd t.v but i have been finding it hard to get it working thorugh a VGA slot so ive been buying adapters to get it working because my graphic card has got only got dvi-d and hdmi slots and now i have got it working but when i go on games it always crashes and get error so i try to sort it out and nothing any help please.

No i have a DVI-A to vga then a female to female adapter to connect to the vga monitor

Did you try the other DVI slot? Usually, only one slot provides support for DVI-A.

Nope just rebooted it didnt work:/ any other ideas

Hmm the cable might be bad. I suppose if it works with your TV, it cannot be your card for sure.
