You have a Noctua cpu h/s yet you don't plan on over clocking, that case is the size of a small house and then some and is fine if you plan on running tri vid cards, and that UD5 board ?

appreciate the info and help.

the reason for the big case and heat sink is i live in south Florida and we cant afford to run the a/c 24/7 so temps inside the house are 85-98 degrees till we turn it on at like 6-8pm.

the ud5 board? well i want to go 470 sli in like 6-8 months so i wanted a board to support it. the only boards i know anything about is gigabyte and asus and i remember back in the day when 1366 came out the ud3 and ud5 boards where all the rave so i chose one for this build. ud3 is 30 bucks cheaper i guess i could get that one since i only need 2 pci slots not 3

ill look into asrock though.

That 922 XM post cooler temps than the HAF X according to the reviews/benchmarks.

http://www.coolermaster.com/product.php?product_id=6821 <------ it supports 4 x 200mm fans. I posted that 200mm fan up there for the side. If and when you ever add a second 670 then that's when you add another 200mm fan. That case just hit the market about six months ago and CM gave it all the bells and whistles.

https://www.google.com/#hl=en&safe=off&output=search&sclient=psy-ab&q=cooler+master+haf+xm+review&oq=Cooler+Master+HAF+XM&gs_l=hp.1.1.0l8j0i10j0.2222.2222.1.5180.1.1.0.0.0.0.696.696.5-1.1.0.eesh..0.0...1.2.W31c1CL_wgU&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.r_cp.r_qf.&fp=29f1d2d1223cbee7&biw=1440&bih=775 <------ there's some reviews on that case with temp benchmarks.

The CM EVO cpu h/s comes with excellent thermal compound is by far the most recommended mid range cpu h/s on here. It also comes set up to add another fan to it for a "push - pull" effect to bring temps down even lower.

That Asrock board just came out less than a week ago hence the reason there isn't any reviews on it but it's identical to the Asrock Z77 extreme4 other than it runs a 8 + 3 power phase configuration and the extreme4 runs a 8 + 4.

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/z77-express-ivy-bridge-benchmark,3254.html <----- that's a review done here on Toms of the extreme4 w/benchmarks

http://www.vortez.net/articles_pages/asrock_z77_extreme4_review,1.html <----- that's another review of that board. Again it's almost identical to that board I posted up above other than the power phase configuration and it doesn't have that shiny metal cover decoration on the South Bridge.
