ATI Radeon HD 5850 or NVIDEA GeForce GTX 560

http://community.futuremark.com/hardware/gpu/ATI+Radeon+HD+5850/review#

Listed at $40 (3860) it benchmarks almost as equal as NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560(3900) at a 3rd of the cost.
There will be a significant difference in the type of games i will be able to run on ultra or high but im only looking at games like dota 2 or dayZ. What's your opinion on which i should buy? One other thing i can't seem to find the 5850 at newegg or microcenter, figured it would be a popular choice for low end desktop builds.

the 5850 is out of date and 2 generations behind. It however offers all the modern gpu features like dx11. It should be very compatible to a 560, maybe slightly slower.

Its a good card for the price if you can get it for so cheaply.
  2. The HD 5850 was pretty high end back then...2 years ago. It's still a good card though and just as fast as a Nvidia GTX 560.
If you can buy one for just 40$ then go for it!It's a great card!

Doesn't make sense why would the price be $40 on that link benchmarking all the cards. I've looked all over the internet and its over $100. I suppose the 560 is the next one thats rated high for its cost. Well thank you for your help anyways
