I would like to get some feedback on what you guys think would give me the best bang for my buck.
A Ram upgrade or a GPU upgrade or maybe a CPU.. but will have to save for that.
Since I can't afford to purchase both at once I have to settle for one right now.
And I should state that it is a very small form factor PC. So upgrading the PSU is out of the question. Since it will cost $60-$100 to do that alone.
Approximate Purchase Date: Before September 30, 2012 that's when the sale ends on TigerDirect
Budget Range: $40 - $50
System Usage from Most to Least Important: playing online browser games, watching movies, gaming, surfing the internet)
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Tigerdirect.com, Newegg.com if you must.
Location: Carrollton, GA , USA
And Most Importantly, Why Are You Upgrading: I'm having trouble running Fallout New Vegas: Ultimate Editon. Which only cost around $10 so don't need/want to spend much to play it. I'd also like to play browser games(e.g. Facebook games) with no lag.
I would say upgrade the gpu, but not a gt430. I wouldn't go below a 6570, which will be around $50.
Thank you very much for you reply. But from the specs stand point of the 6570 vs. gt430 is there really that much difference in the two? Core Clock and seemed to be about the same to me. and the g430 was half the price after rebate. Which is why i was gonna go with it. Also I own a Radeon GPU regular PCI which 1 month after i purchased it was useless since they stopped updating the drivers. So I guess my next question is... Since AMD took over the Radeon series of GPU's do they offer more/better driver updates to older cards?
