Hi,
Looking to build a PC that will sit behind my 60in plasma in the basement. No worry about burn in as I only want to use it for watching videos and gaming. Not over clocking and looking for solid GPU, CPU, and motherboard. Hoping that it would last several years and I could just upgrade the GPU, RAM, HDD down the road. Don't need OS or monitor. plan to use wireless keyboard and mouse.

Plan to order this week.

Question: Will any GPU transmit video and sound through HDMI to my TV? Or do I need to use optical audio out or something like that. Basically do I need a sound card or will GPU do it?

I also work right by a microcenter store if that is any better then newegg.

Here is my first crack at it. feel free to recommend any changes. Thanks for any help in advance

go to micro center and get the cpu + motherboard combo!! its a $50+ savings!! but you have to get a 3570k and a z77. definetly worth looking into.

3570k cpu at 4.0 or higher is best and will keep up with your grafics card.

if your not geting to get a cpu cooler or a 3570k get some gskill 8gb for $40!

a grafic card with 2 fans would be better.

430 case might me a little small...look at the nzxt 210. putting a cpu cooler might be tight

430w is a little small. if your going to ugrade your grafics card in 2-3 years you might need a bigger power suply...
