Hi every one and first like to thank every one who gave me advice/help last December/january when going thro the minfield of a new build........Ok I had my new build last January and am over the moon with it after playing with it for the last nine month its time to sort the last few bits on it. I dont do any gaming tho am geting into flight simulater X....Its basicly just a genral hack computer used for internet and I do some photo stuff and video editing for fun.......... but I do like my music and films Ok this is what I ended up with in the end.........

Asus P9X79 Deluxe Motherboard
Intel Core i7 3930K Enthusiast Unlocked, S 2011, Sandybridge-E, Six Core, 3.2GHz, 12MB Smart Cache, 130W, Retail
240GB OCZ Vertex 3 Max IOPS Edition Solid State Drive SATA 6Gb/s 85KIOPS (for operating system)
Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB x 2 for storage drives
1280MB Gainward GTX 570 Phantom, 40nm, 1950MHz GDDR5, GPU 750MHz, Shader 1600MHz, 480 Cores, DP/HDMI
16GB Corsair DDR3 Vengeance LP PC3-12800 (1600), Non-ECC, CAS 8-8-8-24, XMP, 1.5V
Corsair H80 Hydro CPU cooler
Cooler Master Silent Pro M 850w psu
Coolermaster SlickleFLow Blue LED Quiet Case Fan 120mm x 5
LG blue ray burner drives x 2
Cooler Master Cosmos 1100 sport (powder coated black inside)
Iiyama ProLite B2409HDS 24" monitors x 2 (dual screen)
Icy box IB865 USB 3.0 supper speed card reader
Windows 7 ultimate 64 Bit OS

I'm looking for advice on a nice set of 2.1 speakers what do people recomend ? ( is the sound out put on that board ok or do I need a sound blaster ?)
As said Im geting into flight simulator x and going to get anouther drive just to store any sim/game stuff on do I go a second SSD or anouther WD caviar Black 1TB SATA 3 ?
Is it worth adding anouther 16 Gig of 16GB Corsair DDR3 Vengeance LP PC3-12800 (1600), Non-ECC, CAS 8-8-8-24, XMP, 1.5V making 32 in total ?
Thanks

WOW. Extreme. :o

Try going with the Rampage IV Formula/Extreme if possible.

And nope, the 570 is more than enough :)

Switch the SSD to a Samsung 256GB, Sandisk 240GB, or a Kington HyperX series 240GB. For your needs/uses I don't know why you don't go with a Z77 board and a 3770K cpu. It would save you a bundle of money. btw a GTX 660 ti will out perform the 570 while running cooler and using a lot less juice.

Hi! If you are not an audiophile the built in sound driver is adequate enough for gaming and music and vids. I recommend 2.1 from Creative, Edison or Klispch. Most of those brands have great bass and clear acoustics... Logitech are also ok, but I dont like the flat bass sound most of their woofers produce...

Anyway nice build and good luck...
