Hey,
so i got an fx-8120 @ 4.0ghz and im kinda worried if it will bottleneck my SLI 560.
My single gtx 560 benchmark results are here:
http://www.upload.ee/image/2551635/bottleneck.jpg

Now, will it bottleneck the gtx 560 SLI ? (Im planning to OC my CPU to 4.4-4.6ghz once i get better airflow in case)
Also, what PSU will i need for the overclock (4.6ghz max) and 560 sli ? I currentl have a corsair gs600 - Will it be enough ?

Thanks for your time and answers! Im really concerned here atm.

I would recommend a 750w PSU, your current psu has 48amps on the 12v, which isnt bad but not the best.

There wont be any bottlenecks in your system, keep you cpu overlocked and you will be just fine. I would recommend 4.5 Ghz for you cpu!

the 8120 is one of the newest amd cpu's and you wondering if a 560 sli will bottleneck it *face palm*

Okay i have a few questions more:
Atm i have a single gtx 560 that does pretty well in bf3 (i want to sli it tho).
So i have a 23" 1920x1080 monitor and im thinking of adding a second one (probably a 17" 1280x1024 or something) so that i could monitor temps and stuff like that while playing. Is that possible without stressing the GPU's ? Cause ive read that nvidias eyefinity is pretty crap.

It isn't crap, it just isn't as good as AMD's.

Yes it will stress out the gpu a little, but I think you should sell your gtx 560 and buy a gtx 670 because a gtx 670 is overall better than a gtx 560SLI, not to mention less power, heat, Upgrade path and NO Microstuttering. BTW A single Gtx 670 can handle 4 Monitors!

hmm, so would a single gtx 670 run bf3 on high 1080p ? is it really that much better than a 560 sli ?

yes it's way better than a 560 Sli it's newer, faster, and overall better than a 560 Sli any day and if you save up some money you can Sli it and that's better than a 690

a single 670 can run 45+ fps on bf3 on in 1080p

On high? On ultra, at 1080p with a single card, I average over 100fps with a 670

He's full of ***. I ran a xfired 6870 setup, and on ultra I struggled to keep it above 70-85FPS. the 12.7 drivers helped, but the hell that was pegged at 95C the entire time was gone when I upgraded to the 670.

this is his stream, he achieves that fps during streaming...

720p, /facepalm

I get great FPS while pounding refresh on the server screen a thousand times also. I'm not sure how much longer I can sit through watching him fail at logging into a server.

Edit: watched one of his old videos...720p with pretty much all low settings on the graphics side. Of course his FPS is going through the roof, I'm sure if he could, he'd turn colours off also.

umm, he is streaming in 720p but playing in 1920x1080...
he showed me the settings, aa and af are off, motion blur is on, hbao is on, 2 things are on high and rest of them are on medium. i have the exact same settings (without streaming) and are struggling to get 55fps

This is my stream with the exact settings as he has:
http://www.twitch.tv/ezuland/b/326711601

In the last minute you can see i have a constant of 40-45 fps, when i turn off the stream it goes up to 50-55.

I still cant udnerstand how he has 70+ all the time with streaming..

My Gtx 670 gets 60+ fps in Bf3 on Ultra with NO compromises so I don't touch a single thing, some people may say they play on ultra but usually it's not entirely ultra settings they may lower a thing or two.

Once you lower the settings the card doesn't work as hard hence why you get more fps!
