Will a ATI HD7870 run on my system

hi there,i have a gaming pc with the following hardware...core I5 2500k,asrock pro3 p67 mobo,gtx560ti gainward video card,antec 650watt true power psu
my question is,if i upgrade to a radeon 7870msi hawk video card,will my power supply be sufficient and is it compatible with my system??

Yes the 7xxx series do use less power than any Fermi gpu from nVidia (at the same or higher level)

the 7870 uses less power than the 560ti but the upgrade is rather small, only about a 30% increase in performance for $300 is a bit much imo.

If you OC, the 7950 is a great card and will give you a good boost in performance. You might also consider the 670 if its near the same price range.
