Just thought I would share this experience I had with another reviewer on Amazon, who claims an FX-4100 can be overclocked to beat out unlocked i5 and i7 processors.

It's just frustrating that you can clearly explain something to somebody and they just can't figure it out. :??:

I'd also like to know where he got that 146 FPS figure from....

As an AMD fan, I have to admire the stuff he manages to come up with. Class A BullShit. Don't waste your time.

And as for StarCraft 2 on 146FPS, hes obviously running it on 800x600

Haha, probably with the CPU settings lowered, which would do it. I enjoy AMD products myself, and I really hope they don't go under. I just know a better CPU when I see one. However, I do prefer AMD/ATI GPUs. I've found them to be more cost effective, but without also limiting me to budget gear. I also had a much easier time OCing my Radeon card than my GeForce card.

Same i prefer amd cpus as well. However he a 4100 beating a i5? Haha Dont make me laugh. Thats just stupidity. Why are some people So dumb/stupid? Do research Its not hard. Its not all about GHZ sigh..

Just prove your self the better poster and walk away. Anyone who knows anything will realize that the air is thin where the poster comes from or they are trying to start a flame war with you, trolling is hardly ever as easy to spot as this blatant attempt.

The sad thing is, I don't think this guy is a troll. He has published some other tech reviews before going onto mine, and they seem legit. I think he is actually this stupid.

God, how pathetic. I HATE people like this.
But, to be honest.. I'm GREATLY excited for Steamroller.. I feel like it's the architecture refresh that'll allow the module based design to have single thread performance close/on par with Intel, and if it is.. Definitely will be a run for all of our $!
Too bad I'll be on a Haswell Pentium/Core i3. :sol:

Yeah, I'm really hoping AMD pulls out of this rut they're in. I'd love to see some competition on the higher end of the market.

If Steamroller is the success AMD needs, I can tell you now - everyone with an LGA1155 & LGA1150 board are gonna be burning them while AMD users raise their 2011 AM3+ in happiness!

Well... I don't know about any of that, I'm more than happy with my 3570k @ 4.5GHz... but my family PC that now has the FX-4100 in it might be worth upgrading. We'll just have to see! :bounce:
