Gtx 570 runing hot

iwant to know recently i got gtx 570 synergy edition when i playing games on it it suddenly games hacks no things moving even when i try alt+tab no minimizing to desktop i got second hand gpu gtx 570 synergy from friend i chek the temp and its running too hot i think 67 when checked gpuz sensors the thermal paste may be the reason so would i need to change the thermal paste or not

Let me start by saying, USE PUNCTUATION. Your post was barely legible.

As for your graphics card, 67 degrees while gaming is normal for a GTX 570. If the temps start getting over 85, you should start worrying. If you want to try to get the temps down further, take a look into getting a program to monitor your fans and increasing the fan speeds a bit.

Just curious, why did you think it was running too hot?

Hey,

No need to worry 67C is a perfectly normal temperature assuming you mean its load temp. (temperature while gaming). If thats your idle temp then it is running kinda hot. If you want to cool it down further consider creating a custom fan profile in an app such as msi afterburner.

Those temps are perfectly fine. My 6950 hovers around 71 in gaming situations.

Again, no that is not too hot, that is normal for that graphics card. There is nothing wrong with your graphics card.

If that's your CPU temp, then yes that's way hot. If its the GPU temp its not that bad.

Your temperature at idle 50c is normal. Your temperature at load 67c is outstanding. You should be pleased.

pleased about what i mean to say my gpu run at 50 idle and cpu now popping out to 70 when playing games on it isnt it too high for the cpu and my asus aii suite 2 give warning cpu reaches to 70 s

ok my gpu is not currently issue problem cpu does last time when i used spread method of thermal paste first my temp idle at 36 which is good one and now it crosses

Read the sticky at the top of the CPU and Components section of the forum.

Its the line method, give it a go. It has detailed pictures etc, which will be more useful to you than me explaining it.

Use a small brush, like a paint brush, or nail polish type brush to apply your thermal paste. It's much more accurate than a credit card, for me.
