My Northbridge is in the Way????

Here's my computer, I've got this silver thing near the top right of my PCI-E slot, it's a little higher than the slot itself, can you tell me if a graphics card like the GTX 550 Ti would go over it or would collide with it??
I really need to know...

Should clear it with no problems. They make those heatsinks with graphics cards in mind.

Also if you can spring for it get the 6850. Its quicker and about the same price.

Thanks for all the help you've given me, are you sure the that the 6850 will fit? I know a 6770 will fit, (too bad they don't sell anymore at MSY) but a 6850 looks huge.
