More about 3120 accept core
  1. Having the same socket doesnt always mean that it will work. Which Intel® Core™ 2 Duo are trying to put on this board?
  2. core 2 duo E6320 1.86 Ghz
  3. OK the board on this computer is using the G43 chipset which was disigned to handle the later versions of the Intel® Core™ 2 Duo (think of the die shrink to 45nm). The processor that you are trying to use has a 65nm manifactering process. If you were to change it out for one of these http://ark.intel.com/compare/35348,36463,36500,36503,41495,34442,35070,33909,33910,33911,35605 you should be able to get it up and running (Make sure you do a Bios update before you try.
  4. so that's mean i can't acually do it with this one i have ... ( e 6320) only the E7--- and E8--- ??
  5. With the board that you have you will not be able to use that processors.
