Monitor display

when i fix my graphic card(nvidia 8400 gs) in the slot given the monitor doesn't display and blue light keeps on blinking but if i remove it,my pc works normally... can anyone suggest me what to do? or is it because of the lubrication to the graphic card fan..

Is your monitor connected to the motherboard or the gpu?

motherboard....... oh k k... i got it i need to connect it to the gpu.. thx for the hint...
