I recently went from a creative sb live value to the philips card....I use the altec lansing ada-880 speakers and it sounds awesome!....all except every once in a while i get a skip in my mp3 playing and gaming and suggestions?> or anyone else have this problem?
I am running windows 2000 pro...with the service pack two and all the updates....I have it hooked up through the spdif connector....
my question is with anyone with these speakers you know that the front and satelite speakers all hook up to the sub woofer....so when i hook these speakers up through the spdif...i run it from the sub hookup (the spdif connector on the sub to the card)....but it is just hooked into the front left/right rca cable...
am I getting 5.1 sound? or not...and could this be the reason for my skips and cracking sound everyonce in a while?...
