Replacement motherboard

Hello,
I currently own an HP z558 media center and wanted to know if there are motherboards that can be used to replace and use a newer generation processor on the aging processor and limited Memory

I would just build a new PC outright. To upgrade that machine would require an entire new computer anyway.

Uses DDR RAM (which is older than the now defunct DDR2 standard), its a 775 socket board which has been long dead in terms of new processors. In a small (probably non ATX-standard) case, so that means its unlikely you can drop in a consumer motherboard.

New computer is probably the best bet.
