From Intel T7100 to T8100

Hello,I have a Toshiba satellite A200-1m8...
Can i replace my Intel Core 2 duo T7100
to a better Intel Core 2 duo T8100??

Since they both have the same lithography at 45nm, and same FSB (800FSB) I think you should be able to upgrade. The thing in this case is that we dont have access to Toshiba internal board info but I think that you be ok to make this change.

Yes it will work and your computer will be slightly faster (2.1GHz instead of the former 1.8 GHz).

Both CPUs have the same TDP of 35 watts. However, expect the T8100 to produce a little more heat; not a problem.
