HP 435 video download problem

I am encountering a size limit problem
with video (the HP 435 produces an MPG)
which can be successfully downloaded from
camera to computer. The video is there,
and can be played back on the camera_ but
if this MPG is longer than, say, 15 seconds,
it never gets downloaded to the computer.
Only very short videos are transferred
successfully... otherwise file size is 0
after waiting for the process to complete.

Thanks to anyone who might have seen or
fixed this before.
