My mate found a graphics card in his house, not sure where.

It has a logo on it, which says "VTX", and the only resemblance to the model I can find is above the barcode which says "VC4650".

Does anyone know what Graphics card this is?

As long as his motherboard has a PCI-Express x16 slot (very common even in cheapo computers today), he will be able to use it, just tell him it's not good at gaming if he intends to play modern games with it. The HD 7770 is decent for gaming, you will be fine with most games with that GPU.

Well, I checked some stuff on youtube running with the 4650, and it seems to run most games on an average of 30fps on average settings.

It's better than his integregated graphics and also he FOUND it laying around in his house, since his dad used to build computers for other people a long time ago, so he must have got it for free :).

Yeah, I heard alot of good stuff about the 7770, looking forward to it arriving :D

THANKS for the reply!

I guess you could scan the bar code, maybe it encoded some useful information in it :) :bounce:
