Hello,

When setting up, both my desktop and laptop, to my wireless printer (Brother MFC255CW) Should I be inputting the Routers IP into the printer, when prompted?

No, you should connect the printer to your wireless network so your router assigns it an IP address. The install program should then find it on the network.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I was prompted to post that question because during the install program it can't find the printer and one option was to put in an IP Address the other being a node address, which had me stumped. My gut feeling tells me I have set security on my router to high, however I am not the savvy. Even had the Brother tech team stumped. Any ideas are most welcome!

So go into Setup on the wireless printer and run the wireless network wizard.
