I want to make my PC and have been looking at Graphics Cards. The two I've mainly been looking at are the Radeon HD 6950 2gb and the GTX 560 TI. From what I've seen they're both solid cards but I can never seem to find which one is better. The 6950 is currently on sale on Newegg for 200$ and the 560 TI is on sale on TigerDirect for 225$. I'm building my PC for gaming and I will have an Intel i5 2500K Processor, ASUS P8Z68-V LX Intel Z68 Motherboard, and 8GB DDR3 RAM. I would like to play games on max settings with games like Skyrim, Just Cause 2, GTA IV, BF3, and so on. Please help a first time PC builder. Thanks.
EDIT: I just forget to add this last part. I'm on a tight budget and can not to pay any more than the 560 TI. So please don't reccomend anything over that price (225$.)
If you've got a power supply with at least 36 amps of power on 12V rail, I'd recommend getting a GTX 480, which is not only faster than both of those, but it's also faster than the more expensive HD 7850:
for $200 you can also buy a 7850 which consumes much less power than either of those 2 cards and should be slightly faster.
Where can I buy it for $200? The only ones I see are $250 and up. Unless I'm missing something very obvious than thats out of my budget. And Suinius (I think thats spelled right) thanks for pointing out my horrible PSU. I'll be sure to invest in a better one.
