Another 7950 or save up for PileDriver?

Im stumped...I have a 7950 in my system but i want some more fps in say bf3 and metro...But i have 2 choices...Buy anothe 7950 OR buy a piledriver 8 core when it comes out...Any help?

I'd say OC your gpu and wait and buy a piledriver 8 core and OC that too.

7950s OC really well and should have no problem handling BF3 maxed out once you OC it.

There is no way that pile driver would be able to compensate for the performance of a second 7950 in crossfire.

Even ivy bridge would be challenged to do that.

How many fraps are you running right now in the game? Overclocking would be advisable if you are just shy of your goal.

1100 on core and 1557 on memory on mine right now and i have my cpu at 4.6 ghz

Alright,And in bf3 on ULTRA say on a big map...Im averaging about 45-50 with high overclocks on my cpu and gpu but in sp i get about 90-100 fps on that mission walking through the aircraft carrier.

Yes i want to sorta be set on gpu performance for awhile since new gamings coming out. Crysis3,gta V,Battlefield 4 beta next year...

Okay...So do you think i should just get an 8150 or something and be done upgrading for awhile? i mean im maxing out all games at good fps...Im just thinking my 6100 is having a hard time keeping up with this beast video card.

Hmm Alright,You guys convinced me...Even though i wanted to try intel...I already have an amd mobo... so ill grab a pd down the road...whens the release date?

But wait instead if i get a MSI mobo from that kid for building his comp (He would get my am3+ mobo) I can easily go buy a 3570k/2600k...Idk if i should beleive benchmarks though...they say the 2500k is destroying all of AMD's chips and it will most likely will be that way even if amd has a (15%) increase on pd.

well thats a good choice too. The i5 3570k would probably be faster than anything AMD has at gaming.

Oh ONE last question i have...You think a 3570k at say 4.2 ghz will beat my 6100 at video editing?
