sorry if this is in the wrong section but im only getting 10 fps on bf3 on low settings specs are gtx 580 and a fx 8120 8gb ram

using the latest drivers 1920x1080 and my psu is a modular powercool 650w

yea should be il check tho to see if one has come loose

just installed the processor today minecraft runs fine going to try cod 4 now

Did you reinstall windows when you changed CPU? If you did not, I can give you 90% that it is the problem why bf3 is running so slow.

yea gave it a fresh install and cod 4 runs fine aswell

I'd try redownloading the game, maybe even reinstall of Origin.

The GTX 550-590 have really bad driver support for BF3.

Origin changed thier coding design within the last week of release of BF3, this really threw off Nvidia when they designed thier drivers.

This issue happens to alot of people, and still has not been fixed.

You can try using the latest Beta drivers, they can help.
