More about windows doesn show overclock details window
  1. yeah its normal windows doesnt show overclocked speed

think it just reads the cpu id and puts the default speed for that cpu model
  2. do you mean you double click computer and your ssd shows as device with removable storage?

none of my 3 ssds do that they all show as hard drives
  3. yes they both show as removable both ssd
  4. never seen them do that if they are connected to the motherboard and not in a usb dock

dont know thats its a problem though

    do they perform correctly?

in atto or as ssd benchmarks

if so wouldnt worry about it
  5. Yes it's 2 840 pros and they run real fast.benchmarks are good.
  6. just plugged a samsung 830 into my hot swap dock

still shows as a hard drive not a removable

    scores 734 on as ssd

though i have a ton of stuff on it and my cctv running

so if your scores are over that for a single 840 pro then i wouldnt worry about it showing as removable

I think windows "reads" the CPU registers, to find the family, stepping, revision and the speed.

Its like a string of text.
  8. It's running smooth and fast,i'm not going to worry about it.
