Does ati 4850 512 mb support a 23 inch monitor ?

hi .. i wanna buy a new monitor for my pc .. my budget can handle a 23 inch monitor .. but i am worried if my VGA card (ati 4850 512 mb) can run it with good quality at the perfect resolution .. can it run (games . HD MOVIES.ETC.) of a 23 inch monitor or do i have to buy a smaller one ?

The resolution is important. 22-27 inch monitors mostly have 1920x1080. If you want a performance boost you'll have to go with a 19 or 17 inch. The GPU shouldn't struggle too much though. You probably won't get the absolute best graphics in games like BF3 but it shouldn't be too bad.
