Win7 Home Premium x64 SP1 (clean install) Updated drivers Nothing else.
I can get online with one network (shop is IPv4 only) But it won't identify home network with different cable modem (motorolla 5220 Time Warner). This occured as well on a an Actiontech M1424WR modem with verizon FIOS.
I have tried everything I can think of to deal with this from a fresh install on the home network to release/renew of the IP. Nothing works, however no matter what I can go to the other network and goes right online. I have done all of the MS fixes i could find (ofcourse I can't use GPedit.msc as it doesn't work on home premium) and yes the modem has been reset numerous times. At this point I am looking to install a PCI NIC to see if it works.
I am also wondering if using a router in between might solve this issue as all equipment checks out as both ends. Any suggestions at all would be greatly appreciated
