sorri. i didnt put enough info. the 7ns is cas3-3-3, and therefore 3 at 100fsb, while the 7.5ns is cas2-2-3, so at 100fsb, will run at cas2.

i was wondering with ram would be faster..

CAS, CAS to RAS and RAS are all determined by the BIOS settings (and NOT by the ram itself). So even if you have RAM 3-3-3 you can set it at 2-2-2. There is one issue: stability. As an example: currently I’m using PC 133 MHz 3-3-3, but the BIOS settings are 2-2-2. The system is rock stable, so no problems.
RAM 7 and 7.5 ns are at least 133MHz capable. I bet they are both capable to do CAS 2 at 100 MHz FSB.
About the speed, I think at the same FSB and CAS, 7 and 7.5ns are equal.

er.. sorry. i didnt include one last bit of info. see, i have a oem computer by nec, with the mobo using intel 440zx chipset. the thing is, my bios doesnt have those settings to maipulate in the first place...

er... so i can only use the default settings. so i was wondering which one was relatively faster.. the cas2 7.5ns or the cas3 7.0ns...

see, i have 2 sticks of 128mb for both. and my mobo only supports has two dimms slots.. so..

thnks

Both will perform EQUAL at 100 MHz, so buy the cheapest one. Anyway, with the current RAM prices that's not a problem. If I was you, I would buy the 7.5 ns CAS 2 just because you will be sure it's CAS 2 capable at 133 MHz.
Good luck.
