Hi. I'm a user of SmartAnswer by symbianware. I used it on my 3650 and now
on the new 6600. I have noticed on the 6600 that there is a pause after the
phone answers and plays the message. In this pause the caller can hear what
is going on around the phone from the mic down the line. The stops when it
begins to play the message. This never happened wiith the 3650. I've tried
both V2.00 and V2.02 of SAnswer with the same result. Is there a way of
getting around this problem?

Thanks

Rob.

They told me that this problem was caused by the layout of the 6600. I
forgot the technical explanation.

They told me it was not fixable. Perhaps helps the newest firmware update (V
5..) ??. I remember me (not sure) it was because of the hardware of the
6600.

I found the reason by BlackList:
http://www.symbianware.com/product [...] 0&pl=n6600
Nokia 6600 and 7610 users please note: On Nokia 6600 and 7610 there could be
small delay (about 0.5 second) before unwanted call will be rejected.
Unfortunately Nokia 6600 and 7610 don't have API for a fast call refusal.
That's why our software doesn't cancel the call immediately (as it's
technically impossible) but with 0.5 sec delay on this device.
