Fast CPU Damage Analysis

Please look at this image:

One part on the side of the CPU is colored slightly differently than the others, I fear it may be an indent. Have I done any damage to the CPU?

can you reupload the image and maybe set camera to macro mode for a clearer and closer shot?...I could not see the indentation.

It somehow disappeared now. I can still see some sort of a white line through the part that I thought was indented. I'm assuming that it's a pin. Is this normal? Could this result from unequal pressures on the side of the CPU (couldn't screw the Intel LGA 2011 heatsink correctly).
