Nokia 6230 video shrinking on Vodafone?

I recorded a 15 second video on my Vodafone branded 6230, and sent it.
The recipient only got about 5 seconds of video, and when I checked
the sent folder it was 5 seconds in that too? I had a look on
Vodafone.co.uk and it states that you can send up to 12 seconds of
video? Does anyone know if its a function of the phone to do this, or
is it something Vodafone have done? Could be related to the file size
too? I would do some experiments, but its an expensive way to find out
exactly how it works!
