Help with setup plans

hi guys, im looking to spend a sirius amount of money on pc uprgades and i want my pc to be insane

so my current plans are

i7 3770k = H 100 cooler
quad sli gtx 690 = stock cooling
16gb ripjaws ram
rog rampage maximus v extreme
corsair ax1200i psu
cooler master haf x

i thinking abut 2 things, motherboard and graphics cards, i do accept any advice you have to give though.

my current build is

i3 2100 = H 100 cooler
gtx 560ti 1gb
8gb ripjaws
Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3V
cooler master 500w psu
cooler master haf x

i am after advice on the planned parts, every form of feedback is much appreciated.

Do you have a multi-monitor setup to justify these extravagant graphics cards?
Do you number crunch or video edit often or at a high enough level to need a 3770k?

Stating what you want to do with this stuff would help, because if thats just for 1080p gaming than you are wasting a significant amount of cash.

i possibly go with 3 of those runnin 3d at some time

(btw if you know a bit cheeper screen that is 120hz 1080p led)

just note that not all games readily support SLI/Crossfire. In some cases, Sli/Crossfire will give you reverse scaling(I.e Arma2 for some due to its bad coding and optimization)

yeah? in that case i can just turn sli off when playing games that dont support it right ? (and arma2 should play fine on just 1 gtx690 right?)

The build you have specced is about the best you can buy on a consumer level, if anything will get you what you want, that'l do it.
