Problem with the GPU

Hello,
After running games or stressing the GPU (with Kombustor) my computer restarts without any message or beeps. I have been monitoring the temperatures, CPU doesnt pass the 70 c, and GPU is at 45 while idle, 75-80 stressed.
My system is :
QuadCore Intel Core i5-2300
Intel Woodworth DH61WW
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 470 (1280 MB)
4074 MB RAM (DDR3-1333 DDR3 SDRAM)
EPILSON 80plus 500W

looks like a defective psu
it could even be freid ram
have you tried running the card in another system?

I dont have another system to try it on....
Any way to confirm those problems?

it could also be your mobo
it is very flimsy
i had similar problem where my pcie connector was being bent and eventually broke my gfx card so do watch out
also you should run windows memory diagnostics to check your memory

I ran windows memory diagnostics and it didnt find any problem...

Just opened the case and did a quick check , everything seems normal :\

try connecting the vga/dvi monitor cable directly to your mobo. remove the graphics card as well.

If that doesn't work, something's wrong with your mobo/hdd

you should replace your psu because the gtx 470 is a power hog to run it properly you must buy a quality 650w psu

Thats wierd because im running this system for a year + and it didnt have a single problem like that before.furthermore i was playing alot of BF3 which was really stressing my computer to the max and it didnt even shutdown\overheat once..

try checking for registry errors. check your recent software installation. it only happens when running a particular program right?

No, it happens with most games and while stressing the graphic card.
Will test anyway

Ran a scan with ccleaner , and fixed them all didnt help..
