The 7770 is probably not your best choice. Last-generation cards will have better performance, even though they will use more power doing so and will cost a few more $$. I'd recommend going to a 6870 or 560, which are both right around $150 post-rebate. Here's a comparison: http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/536?vs=540 If you can't fit that in your budget and are committed to the 7770's price point, then it's not a bad choice. But you won't be maxing games out at 1600x900, at least not newer games.

It's a good card for lower end graphics. If you want to run "all games" at ultra high you need something in the higher mid range at least. The cards listed above will get you close to high settings at your resolution and can max out many games.

Plus you need a fast CPU to match, you did not list any system specs at all.

As motor said, you would get better bang-per-buck with a 6870 for practically the same price. Unless you want/need the 7770's specifically for lower power requirement, you are better off with the 6870 performance-wise.

What is your budget for a GPU?
For 1600X900, the HD 7770 should be fine, but you haven't listed any of your other PC specs, especially your power supply unit or PSU.

Budget is not a big deal, but i want to make everything optimized..
and my pc specification is
Ram: 8 gb
Hdd: 1 tb
Processor: AMD 3.6 GHz AM3+ FX4100
Motherboard: Gigabyte 880
Psu: Cooler master 500 watt.
And DEL 20 inch monitor @ 1600 by 900

What will be better?
HD 7770 Overclocked or HD 6870??

and i found that HD 7770 has got better Clock speed??
Which one is better to max out all games like battlefield @ 1600 by 900 resolution.?

The 7770 may have slightly higher clock but it only has a 128bits RAM controller while the 6870 has 256bits memory which gives it almost twice as much memory bandwidth.

Another difference is that the 7770 is little more than a 6770 die shrink with a few updates and improvements which is itself a 5770 die shrink and update. As such, the 7770 does not perform a whole lot faster than the 5770 does and certainly not as fast as people might normally expect from a product marketed as two generations newer. You have to look in the x8xx/x9xx series for significant generational improvements.

HD 7770 may have better clock speeds, but overall the HD 6870 is faster.
The HD 6870 should be enough to max out BF3 at that resolution.
