I was going to order all the parts last night but I can't wait so I may pick this all up tonight at Microcenter. This PC will mostly be used for office work, internet, and streaming audio\video to my PS3.

What do you think?

Intel BOXDH67BLB3 LGA 1155 H67 mATX Intel - $89 (I would have liked to spend less on the board but I was looking for one that had Sata 6 and USB 3.0)

Intel Core i5 3450 3.1GHz LGA 1155 Processor - $149 (I think this is a good deal)

HGST Deskstar 7K1000.D 1TB 7,200RPM 32MB - $64

Corsair XMS3 Series 8GB DDR3-1333 PC3-10666) - $29 After Rebate

Cooler MasterTC102 Mid Tower ATX Computer Case with 500W Power Supply - $37

Total $426.86 including Tax

I have the OS and Monitor already.

H67 will not work with Ivy Bridge cpu without a bios update.

You need H77/B75/Z77. I recommend H77 for your needs.

I certainly wouldn't recommend a generic psu that comes with a case either, but I'm sure it'll work, at least for a year or so.

Next time you want advice, fill out the new build form in the new build section of the forum.

Thanks for the input. I am going to change the board. It sucks that MC is $30 more then NewEgg.

Well go ahead, it'll cost you another $30 lol. That's where MC get's you, unbelievable cpu prices, then they make it back on the motherboard and other parts.
