Tower fans 2 not working after Installing SSD Tags: Homebuilt SSD Systems bosa September 19, 2012 5:57:18 PM I put in a new SSD I got Plextro M5S 128gb, when I installed the card I did not see that a Sata cable was touching one of the Big Front bottom fans on the tower. I turned on my computer and I heard a loud noise and I knew right away something was touching the Fan. When I went to correct the error the fans already shut down. Two fans total are knocked out one on the bottom of the tower and one on the back top exhaust. The fan that actually was obstructed is fine for some reason... So did I short out the other two fans I already replaced the power cord going to the fans.. More about : tower fans working installing ssd Can't find your answer ? Ask !
