Ati radeon hd 5770 series blue screen

Hello there,
I have the hd 5770 series graphic card and i got giving it to me by a friend and i always get blue screen and then reboots which really annoys me ive looked on forums and nothing what could be the case, i know that the graphics card is nearly 2 years old but i dont think age is the case,
is there any fix?

My power supply is: ace black edition 750 watt powersupply
and it the graphic card because i never had he problem with my old graphic card

What was your old graphics card? If you had an nvidia, you could have some conflicts with the drivers. If it was nvidia, I would completely remove those drivers and get the most recent from AMD

my old gpu was ati radeon 5450 and no i havent

Did you ask your friend if he had any problems with the card?

You need to install the latest graphics drivers if you haven't already.

I have just asked him and he said he did get blue screen but not that much. I am going to insttall the ltest driver asap
