Can u tell me if it's good or not? Please give me some comments on what i need to know before i buy new speakers. I don't have that much money. If this speaker is not good, what speakers should i buy (4.1 sound)? Thank you in advance!
I own these, and they aren't bad, but they definitely aren't 1000w.
But don't ever, EVER, EVER order from this company. They are the same as InternetIShop.com. Look them up here and you'll see my experience with them.
Oh, and by the way, it's not really 7 pieces. The two stacked speakers swivel, but don't separate.

Creative's speakers are generally pretty good (and would hopefully work correctly with Creative sound cards
$81 from Newegg.com, not a bad price at all for 5.1 speakers. 18w is not that much, though. And the frequency response starts at 47Hz, meaning you'll lose a decent amount of the bass.
They're probably good for the price, but you wouldn't regret going top-of-the-line.

If you want the full experience, I suggest getting a decent Receiver (make sure that it has 6 channell hookups)some medium to high value bookcase style speakers, and wire your sound this way. I have been doing this for years and I can garrenttee you that my system puts to shame any computer speaker combo that you can come up with. I have a Teac AG-D9320 receiver, and 5 speakers (Bose for mains, Sony's for surround, and JBL for center channel) in all, this 100 watts per channel dolby digital sound set up only cost me $550. I would venture to say that you could even get it cheaper than this if you skimp out on the speakers.
I agree with Arsend. Computer speakers are generally overpriced and underpowerd.
And remember, ejsmith, that's PMPO (Peak Music Power Output). In other words, that's the most you could ever squeak out in peak. Usually it's far, far less than that on a day-to-day basis.

Well, you have to try to understand what they are implying, because they don't really say the total output. That's 5w x2 for the double high sattelights. Which should be 5w x1 for the rears. So that's 10+10+5+5+30=60, but I'm really guessing at it by trying to fill in the gaps.
