I'm currently printing black and white images using an Epson Stylus 2000p,
and have found that printing in colour rather than B&W mode gives me a less
streaky image. The only problem is that I can't get it to look black under
all lighting conditions.
If it looks black under tungsten (colour balanced towards the blue), then it
looks very blue in daylight, and if it looks black in daylight, then it
comes out red under tungsten.
I had heard that you can buy cartridges that pretend to be a multi-colour
cartridge, but in fact all the tanks contain black ink. This sounds like
just what I need, but does anyone know where to get them?

Hi CB,
This may not help you, but I've gone in another direction for B&W
prints.
I've ordered Media Street's B&W package of multiple inks (black matte,
cool light gray, cool dark gray, warm light gray, warm dark gray, and
surface optimizer). I've also ordered their photo black ink.
Six of these carts will be used in my new Epson R300 inkjet printer.
This printer will be dedicated to B&W printing.
My hope is to use the system this winter in the forest and mountains
during snow season.

Well, I guess that's what I'd want, but there seems to be no equivalent for
the Stylus 2000p, which is what I have. Any ideas on where I might some?
