[SOLVED] D-SUB Out Of Range Error (GTX 560)

Good morning!

I have a problem with my monitor giving me the error message:

D-SUB
OUT OF RANGE
127.1 kHz/100Hz

This started when I tried to run SWTOR for the first time and it must have done something to my refresh rate that I cannot undo.

I've tried:
Uninstalling and Reinstalling latest drivers from both a clean and non-clean install
Uninstalling monitor drivers from Device manager
Setting my monitor's refresh rate from Screen Resolution (It only gives me the option of "Use default hardware setting")
Uninstalling SWTOR
Trying to boot into windows with advanced recovery options (F8 and F11 won't do it)

Here's hopefully all the relevant information I think of:

Motherboard: ASRock Z77 Extreme 4
OS: Win 7 profession 64 bit
Monitor: LG E2242TC
Graphics Card: Nvidia GTX 560 Ti 1GB

Any ideas other then buying a monitor that supports it, switching it, and returning the monitor?

Thanks!

Solved it, but figured I'd post it here for anyone having the same or similar problem:

1) Boot to safe mode
2) Type msconfig and enable base graphics
3) Reboot into normal mode
4) Go to Nvidia control panel and change refresh rate
5) Go to screen resolution and check refresh rate
6) Type msconfig and disable base graphics
7) Profit!

Hopefully this helps someone out!
