kick-ass even though I don't really trust that site for accuracy.. :/

Card is performing about 6.4% slower than GTX 670 and 14% better than HD 7950. Those were the most anticipated comparisons. Card is also faster than HD 7970, but this is only the 3DMark performance, and in higher resolutions it will be more noticeable that 2GB card with only 1152 cores will not be faster than 2048 stream processors and 3GB in HD 7970.

TweakTown will post a full review as it’s finished (it’s being written as we speak) so stay tuned for more information.

Also I will quote OBR-Hardware:

Looks pretty horrible for AMD and pretty awesome for consumers. Nvidia looks to have done a great job with this card!

Now if only Nvidia would get their act together and design a real high-end card, then I could throw some of my money at them...

Tweak Town jumps the blackout again:
http://www.tweaktown.com/reviews/4869/nvidia_geforce_gt...

Quote:
"You're talking about a video card that is rumored to hit at the mid-$200 range yet performs like a video card priced $100 more. In this case we're talking about the HD 7950 specifically. You could argue that it can be compared against the more expensive HD 7970 at times, too."

"The problem for AMD, though, is that while this card is priced at levels around the HD 7850 and HD 7870, its performance is around that of the HD 7950 and HD 7970. You combine this with the fact that AMD really don't have any more room to move on price due to recent price drops. We really do wonder what AMD can do"

I can't see that card being less than $300. Even so, it's a knock-out punch to all the cards above it from a value perspective.

I am waiting for this card to come out I was going to get a 7870 but after seeing these I may get the 660TI if it is around the same price range. I have all the parts to my computer except video card and I am going to wait for other benchmarks to come out when the card is actually available etc. All depends what happens when this card is released if ATI will drop their prices a little more or if nvidia will drop some of theres. This is definately interesting news and I cannot wait.
