Cheap server build help

well im pretty much a noob at this and i had the idea to make a server on the cheap side to just store things like movies,music etc for friends and family and was wondering is this list of products i have are good for such a thing or just suggestions in general on parts to get and things like that

If it is a server just for serving files etc you probably won't notice the SSD aside from boot time. You save yourself some money but sticking with the2TB drive or, I would suggest getting a second 2TB drive instead and mirroring them. If you are using Windows Server you can setup a software mirror if you do not have an onboard RAID controller. Most on-board RAID controllers are software anyway, its just on a firmware chip.
