Issues with Crossover 27q

hi everyone

I just got a Crossover 27q monitor, it works well with my old computer running on a M2N32 Asus with a Athlon x2 6000 and a Nvidia N9600GT graphics card, however when i try to use it with my Sabertooth p67 MB and a ATI 6950 graphics card, have tried swamping cables between machines and am about to swap the old graphics card in to new machine to test if that works any other ideas, thinking its something simple I've missed.
thanks
Craig

are you connecting to the port on the graphics card or on the motherboard? You have to use the one on the graphics card.

Hi Kevin

the ST p67 MB does not have display adapter so am using the graphics card port. Both of them have been tried and nether work, cant use the display ports (have 4) as the monitor does not have that input available.

thanks for help

Does the 6950 work when connected to a different monitor?

When the dell monitor is connected the computer will start but if its the crossover on its own the computer won't even post, works fine on old rig though wetter plugged in on own or with Dell. Weird situation to be in just about to swap graphics card to see if its gc or mb causing issue.

Just put the MSI 9600GT in to my new box and both monitors working at their native res looks really sweet, now to find why the ATI card is not working!

Oh and the graphics card is working with out its own installed drivers just using generic win 7 ones after a restart currently.

It's an hx 750 from corsair so should be up to it, tested both power lines with old card with.only one power point on old card. I think that if a monitor is not recognised a comp does not post but not sure on that.

Running on msi 9600GT at moment with both screens working bit its npt really up to it.
