The GTX 480 is much more powerfull than a GTX 560.But for the price of a GTX 480 you can also buya GTX 570 which is better in every aspect.Or you can also spend a bit more and buy a HD 7870 for 260$ which better than all of them.

performance wise, the 480 is still better than the 570 when it comes to in-game performance that is. its just less efficient.
