Hello everyone,
I am new to building my own PC and am seeking help. The reason I am building my own PC is due to cost. I am in school so cheaper is always better of course! The main purpose of my PC will be to do video editing and also various tasks related to school. I would prefer a SSD for bootup and also pci 3.0.. with wireless internet connection. So let me give you the skinny using someones form they posted elsewhere for everything it asked. I am open to prebuilt systems too or refurbished ones. Basically I just want the best bang for my buck. If it costs more I am ok with it as long as it will last me a good time.
Approximate Purchase Date: this week to next week
Budget Range: 500-1200 USD
System Usage from Most to Least Important: Schoolwork, Editing, Games
Are you buying a monitor: Yes
Do you need to buy OS: Yes
Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg but anywhere that is quality and cheep works.
Parts Preferences: Intel... based off benchmarks i5 should be good but I am open to ideas.
Overclocking: Maybe
SLI or Crossfire: Maybe
Your Monitor Resolution: Higher the better but I can hook it up to my HDTV so I am not to worried
Additional Comments: I would like a little style on the rig..
