Hey guys I'm running an SLI of GTX 670 Windforce and I'm playing WoW on ultra at 1980x1020. I don't think I'm getting bottle necked by my cpu it's an i5 3570k running at 4.6GHz. With SLI I get 60-110 fps with SLI disabled I get 80-110 FPS. What's up with that? I checked bench marks I should be getting around 110+ for WoW with SLI GTX 670.

does WOW have a SLi profile with nVidia, is it on the list, what do any driver updates say about SLi profiles and WOW.?
gotta look it up.

I checked that and they don't have a GTX 670 sli so I used GTX 580 SLI and at 1920X1080 can run at 111 fps at ultra

Latest drivers and with SLI I'm getting 60FPS to like 105 max and with no SLi 80-110.
My monitor is 120Hz and I did enable 120HZ in game option.

I'm playing World at War solo campaign maxed out with 2 cards enabled and 120hz enabled and I'm only getting 91 fps. is my 2nd card messed up or something. Only one seems to be doing any work.

Are you playing in full screen mode? If not, sli does not work.

I've had SLi work in a windowed mode a few times but I'm pretty sure it's just been a glitch as I have never been able to repeat incident consistently.

I've been playing in full screen so far going to turn off V sync, thanks guys.

edit: turned off V sync via Nvidia control panel and "no" on sync every frame in CoD WaW, still a solid 91 FPS.

WoW is known to be very CPU intensive. Perhaps you are just being bottlenecked. When you try to achieve 120FPS for your 120hz monitor (I also have one), bottlenecks are quite common.

Also, make sure you are not using "fullscreen windowed" as it essentially is in windowed mode, even if it looks like it's fullscreen.

CoD WaW has a 91 FPS cap. http://www.codvs.com/removing-the-fps-limit-t29907.html

Works great. I got it before the 670's came out.

Cod Maxes out at just above 90 FPS for all PC titles. Hurray for crappy console ports! My SLI GTX 580's do the same thing. I also let a mate install wow and i was having roughly the same results, and I also have a 120Hz monitor.

Maybe if I try BF3 or something I'll see how good these cards are.

I need to buy those games haha. Anyways well I did as said, ALSO took off over clocking, disabled V sync settings and in game in WoW, switched the cards around, enabled everything that needed to be (120Hz). My load screen went much faster if that is related to GPU. Any whose my fps is getting capped at 110.

Edit: Actually WoW won't let me enbale 120 Hz, every time I try it goes back to 109.9 which explains the 110.

As long as you don't have the 3D Vision drivers installed, you can force your video card, in Nvidia Control panel, to use maximum refresh rate. This might solve your problem.

It's the option called, "Preferred refresh rate".

110 is fine I can't cap that when I'm in a 40 man raid which I think is odd. An SLi 670 should be able to. I guess it's too much? I drop to high 50's when I'mi n 40 man raids. I need to try a more GPU intensive game, WoW is more CPU intensive.
