Questions regarding build at bottom.
$1400~ build including the monitor:
MOBO: ASRock Z77 Extreme4
GPU: GIGABYTE gtx670 (oh look another recommended buy hurrr)
RAM: Mushkin Enhanced Blackline 2x4gb
CASE: NZXT Phantom 410 mid-tower
HD: Western Digital Caviar Black 1tb 7200rpm
PSU: CORSAIR HX 750W GOLD modular (Gold b/c of 10+ hours a day usage)
Xigmatec Loki 92mm
DRIVE: ASUS 24X DVD Burner
Monitor: ASUS 24' 2ms monitor
I'd mostly like to know
- whether I'd need the 750W if decided to put another 670 in there for SLI in the future
- if SLI 670's would even fit in that case. With the drive bays out it should work right?
-Do i need to order these Sata cables for the OEM hard drive and disc drive?
Otherwise just let me know if u spot any red flags or if theirs a better alternate part suggestion.

1) get the 120mm cup cooler at least. Check out the XIGMATEK Gaia SD1283 for $20.
And this is the review.
2) You don't need buy extract SATA cables, it comes with the MB.
3) Yes, take out the bay then the card will fix.
4) Do you consider the SSD. like this
5) otherwise all are very good.

If you don't mind shopping at Amazon you might want to consider changing to this monitor
ASUS VE248H 24-Inch Full-HD LED Monitor with Integrated Speakers
You can get the same monitor at Newegg but it's $30 more expensive.
Potential build - what size monitor should I look for?

MSI 670 > Gigabyte 670. MSI has a better cooler and over volting which allows for better OCing.
That is all.

Your mobo clearly states TWO sata cables and you have ONE hard drive so you don't need to buy sata cable/s(?)

Nice find on the Xigmatek Gaia review; I did not realize it actually outperforms the CM Hyper212+, and there's a 6db noise difference too. Nice.
