Explorer.exe confusion HELP

Hello,
I tried to look for my explorer.exe file by clicking the ctrl+alt+del then typing the explorer.exe.. but it went directly to libraries

First, why are you looking for it?

Second, ctl alt del gets you to a menu screen, you can't type in anything till you pick another option, so there is a step you left out.

If you want to actually find the .exe file, do a search for it in the C:\Windows folder.
