Build me a rig!

Hello everyone,

I am new to building my own PC and am seeking help. The reason I am building my own PC is due to cost. I am in school so cheaper is always better of course! The main purpose of my PC will be to do video editing and also various tasks related to school. I would prefer a SSD for bootup and also pci 3.0.. with wireless internet connection. So let me give you the skinny using someones form they posted elsewhere for everything it asked. I am open to prebuilt systems too or refurbished ones. Basically I just want the best bang for my buck. If it costs more I am ok with it as long as it will last me a good time. I also need a mouse and keyboard.

Approximate Purchase Date: this week to next week

Budget Range: 500-1200 USD

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Schoolwork, Editing, Games

Are you buying a monitor: Yes

Do you need to buy OS: Yes

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: Newegg but anywhere that is quality and cheep works.

Parts Preferences: Intel... based off benchmarks i5 should be good but I am open to ideas.

Overclocking: Maybe

SLI or Crossfire: Maybe

Your Monitor Resolution: Higher the better but I can hook it up to my HDTV so I am not to worried

Additional Comments: I would like a little style on the rig..

More about build
  1. Not much style to this build down below but it includes an after market heat sink (thermal paste included) to allow for over clocking, it also includes a 128GB SSD, and it allows to add another one of those cards later on in SLI. There aren't any reviews on that board down below for the fact it was just recently released less than a week ago. $112.98 save: $10.00 FREE SHIPPING
